FAQs

What type of church is this?

We are a non-denominational church with historic roots in the Baptist tradition. We are part of a network of churches called Transformation Ministries that “exists to build a movement of mission-empowering relationships (with): Every Pastor Growing, Every Church Healthy, Every Community Transformed for Christ.

What should I wear?

We want you to come in what will be comfortable for you, whether that’s shorts and a t-shirt or a full tuxedo.

What is a gathering like?

On a Sunday morning you’ll be warmly welcomed at our worship center by a team of greeters and ushers who will help you find whatever you need whether it’s a place to sit, where to check-in your children, or a cup of coffee. We sit around tables instead of in pews, with an outdoor and indoor seating area. In service we’ll have a time of singing and praying together. The preacher’s sermons are Bible based, usually we preach through a book of the Bible. Children are in for the first part of service before going to their classes.

How can I get connected?

We want everyone to be welcomed and part of a community. One of our core missions is for everyone to belong to the family of God. One of the best ways to get connected at CrossWay is by joining a home group. If you’d like more information about home groups email the pastor at tommy.welty@gmail.com

What about my kids?

Your kids are going to have a great time at CrossWay Community Church learning about Jesus from the Bible. When you come to church you’ll check them in at a booth outside of our sanctuary with the Children’s Coordinator. Your kids will sit with you for the first part of service, during the music, and then be dismissed to their classes during a greeting time. All of our volunteers have been background checked and have special training to make sure your kids are safe, have fun, and most importantly learn about Jesus.
