Our mission is to empower every person to believe in Jesus, belong to the family of God, become a disciple, and build His kingdom.

Community of Grace
We value being a community where people can make mistakes and yet be supported in their growth in Jesus; We value being a diverse community and yet in our differences have deep connection with each other and with God.
Spirit-filled Worship
We value every worshipper coming prepared to meet with Jesus in a spiritually significant way through worship, the preaching of the word, praying with others, and the experience of communion and baptism. We value every worshipper being empowered to use their spiritual gifts in worship and throughout the week.
Whole-Life Disciple Making
We value every disciple having a lifestyle of growing closer to Jesus in all areas of life and helping others do the same.
Generous Hospitality
We value believers opening their homes and sharing their resources with one another and their neighbors. Church doesn’t just happen on Sundays, it happens in our homes all week long.
Kingdom Partnerships
We value sharing the Gospel in word and deed in our communities, supporting the work of the Gospel throughout the world, and building partnerships with other churches and ministries locally and regionally.
Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He has created mankind in His own image. Humanity fell into sin, but the Son brings redemption by His death and resurrection, received by faith. Christ gathers His redeemed as the church to be His witness until He returns. As well, we affirm:
About God the Father
That there is one and only living and true God; He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. (Genesis 1:1; John 4:24; Psalm 90:2)
That God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections; to Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. (Isaiah 40:28; Psalm 33:9; Matthew 6:33)
That God as Father reigns with providential care over His creation; He is all-powerful, all loving, and all wise. (Revelation 19:6; Psalm 8:1-5)
That God is Father in truth to those who become His children through faith in Jesus Christ and He is fatherly in His attitude toward all people. (John 1:12-13; Acts 17:24-31; James 1:17)
About Christ the Son
That He is fully God and fully human; He is uncreated, begotten of the Father, the second Person of the Trinity. (John 1:14; Colossians 1:15-20, 2:9; John 20:24-29)
That Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-27)
The He is the Head of the church and the true Lord of creation; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, anticipating the day of resurrection to come. (Ephesians 4:14, Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18-20; 1 Corinthians 15:20-28)
That the He died on the cross in our place for our sins and rose again, bodily, on the third day, ascending into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God, the Father, the only mediator between God and humankind. (1 Corinthians 15:3; Hebrews 9:11-14; 1 Timothy 2:5)
About the Holy Spirit
That the Holy Spirit is fully divine, the third Person of the Trinity. (John 14:16-17, 26, 15:26, 16:5-8; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
That the Holy Spirit’s ministry is to reveal Christ to all people for the salvation and sanctification of their souls and that He, further, guides and teaches believers and provides gifts to the believers, equipping Christians to serve Jesus Christ. (John 14:16-17a, 3:5-8; Ephesians 1:14; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
That the Holy Spirit comes to empower the believer and to enable the believer to live a godly life. (John 7:37-39; Acts 2:1-3; Luke 24:29)
About the Scriptures
That the Holy Bible is inspired by the Spirit of God and is authoritative and without error, taking precedence over all human impression, authority, or tradition. (Psalm 119:89; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
That the Holy Bible is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the believer may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:17; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:11)
That the Holy Bible consists of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, each book testifying to God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. (Revelation 22:18-19)
About Humanity
That all people were created in the image of God; in His image He created them male and female. (Genesis 1:26-27; James 3:9)
That human life is a gift of God, which begins at conception. All of humanity is gifted with dignity as image bearers of God and are called into community, one with another. (Psalm 139:13-15; Luke 1:39-45)
We are created to engage in meaningful, purposeful, and fruitful lives in our relationships, work, and worship. (Genesis 1:28, 2:15; 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13)
There will be a final resurrection for all mankind, the redeemed and the lost. Those who surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ during this life will be raised to everlasting life; the lost to everlasting separation from God. (Daniel 12:2-3; Matthew 25:46; John 5:28, 29)
About Sin and Salvation
Humanity chose to go their own independent way, sinning against God, thereby incurring spiritual death. (Genesis 3:6-7; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8-10)
Sin’s impact damages all aspects of life: personal, relational, and spiritual. The Scriptures teach that the whole of creation has been subjected to futility by human sin.
(Genesis 3:14-19; Romans 8:20; Isaiah 24:5-6)There must be no attempt to rationalize conduct inconsistent with the Scripture’s moral teaching, including its teaching on human sexuality. (Psalm 1; Ephesians 5:11; Revelation 18:4)
Human sexual expression was designed by God as a gift for men and women to enjoy together within the bonds of marriage. (Genesis 2:20-25; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Peter 3:1-7)
God’s solution to human sin is salvation through His Son, which is received through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Risen Lord. (Romans 6:23; John 1:29; Isaiah 53:4-6)
Redeemed people are called to live a life reflecting the holy character of God. Empowered by the Spirit, we pursue holiness and strive against sin. (John 14:26; Philippians 2:14-16; Romans 12:2)
That in Christ, the process of restoring all things has begun; His resurrection is the beginning of that restoration. He continues that process in His people, making His kingdom and will done on earth as it is in heaven. (Colossians 1:15-23; Philippians 2:6-11; Matthew 6:10)
About Spiritual Warfare
Satan, an angel in rebellion against God is the enemy of God, and the enemy of the believer in Christ. He is not God’s evil counterpart but a created being and the original tempter to rebel against God, that is, to sin. (Genesis 3:1-4; Isaiah 14:12-15; Ephesians 6:12)
He leads a large body of fallen angels who war against God’s kingdom; these are also known as demons. False religions and deceptive philosophies are under the influence of the demonic. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Jude 4; Matthew 4:1-11)
Satan and his demons are defeated by the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and will be completely defeated at His second coming. (Genesis 3:15; Romans 16:20; Revelation 12:9)
About the Church
That the Scriptures teach the priesthood of believers, that every believer receives salvation, is called to be a witness and an intercessor, and has free access to God the Father through Jesus Christ our Savior. (1 Peter 2:4-10; Deuteronomy 7:6; Ephesians 2:19-22)
That the New Testament church is a group of believers committed to Jesus Christ. They are called together for worship, fellowship, teaching, evangelism, and service. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:25; 2 Timothy 3:14-15)
That the Spirit has given His gifts to individual believers within the church for the building up of the whole body in faith. (1 Peter 4:10-11; Ephesians 4:11-16; Romans 12:4-5)
That all the gifts described in Scripture are to be equally esteemed and relied upon. (Romans 12:6-8; 2 Timothy 1:6-7; Romans 12:6)
That the church fully commits to its role in world missions and community concerns as an expression of obedience to the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Psalm 22:27-28)
That baptism is a re-enactment of Jesus’ own death, burial and resurrection and is a visual expression of new life in Christ; that baptism is an external witness of the believer’s internal experience: death to sin, burial of the old life, and the resurrection to newness of life. (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Galatians 3:27)
That the Lord’s Supper is a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice for us, with the bread signifying His body and the cup His shed blood. (Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:26; Revelation 3:20)
About Jesus’ Return
That Jesus shall return--visibly and physically--to earth; that He will establish His Kingdom of justice and peace and that He will have dominion and power forever, fulfilling His promise to right all wrongs, heal the nations, and to restore all things.

tommy@crosswayfallbrook.comPastor Tommy grew up in the cornfields of rural Illinois but he tells everyone he's from Chicago. He and his wife, Alyssa, love raising their two kids Atticus and Gwendolyn here in Fallbrook. Tommy and his family have lived all over the place including overseas in Liverpool, England but Fallbrook is home. Pastor Tommy loves when people looking for purpose and community find a home at CrossWay Community Church. In his free time, Tommy can be found reading and writing, making music, or goofing around with his family.

Nathan Giles

Nathan was born in Northern California and grew up behind the drum set of his local church. Music kept him around the church for years, but it wasn't until after 5 years in the Marine Corps that he began a deeper pursuit of the faith he grew up in. Nathan and his wife, Olivia, married and began seminary together in 2017, studying Philosophy and Spiritual Formation, respectively. They spent a few years in Nathan's hometown serving in various ministries before moving to Fallbrook in 2023 to care for Olivia's brother Chase whom they now live with. He is currently pursuing a Doctor or Ministry degree at Talbot School of Theology. Nathan is typically found quietly and thoughtfully staring off into space, teaching theology courses, playing games, and trying to live a slow life appreciating small things.

office@crosswayfallbrook.comAmberly is from the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Mason Texas. She enjoyed ranch life until joining the US Army at 21 to be a helicopter crew chief. She lived in Germany for 3 years until the Army sent her to upstate New York. It was there, at her last duty station, that she met her husband Albert and eventually moved to his home state of California. Albert and Amberly enjoy spending time with their son, Owen, at Padres games, family barbecues and going to the movies. Amberly is passionate about helping to build God’s kingdom through community engagement, hospitality, building partnerships and following where the Spirit leads. Through Amberly’s homeschool journey with Owen, a partnership led her to serve as the Children’s Ministry Director at Crossway in 2020 and eventually becoming Church Administrator. She has called Crossway her home ever since.

Lara is a retired science and math teacher and a current granny-nanny to her three grandchildren. She and her husband, Greg, raised three daughters here in Fallbrook and now have three son-in-laws. She enjoys spending time with her family playing games or playing outdoors. She also enjoys raising farm animals, reading and writing. She has a passion for spreading the love of Jesus and sharing the Gospel in Fallbrook and beyond.
